Satanic Origins Of Antisemitism|
"Moreover, the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone, which you or your fathers have not known. And among those nations you shall find no rest, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and dispair of soul" (Due. 28:64-65).This prophecy, given by Moses just prior to the descendents of Jacob going into the land of Canaan to conquer as their promised inheritance from the Lord, found its fulfillment as early as 722 BC when the Assyrians took the northern kingdom (Israel) into captivity and the subsequent fall of the southern kingdom (Judah) with the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonian Empire just over a hundred years later.
At the time of the Babylonian captivity, it was prophesied by Jeremiah that the Jews were to be in exile from the land for seventy years (Jer. 25:11; Dan. 9:2). After the determined number of years were fulfilled, a remnant eventually went back to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple, however, most remained scattered throughout the then empowered Persian Empire as well as the Greek and Roman empires which came on the scene thereafter. These were commonly referred to as the diaspora. After the coming of Y'shua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) and the national rejection of Him, Jerusalem again found itself under siege (70AD), this time by Rome. The city was destroyed, the Temple pillaged and demolished and the Jews, once more, dispersed from the land.
That the exiled Jewish people would find "no resting place for the sole of their feet" in Gentile nations has proven true historically, especially after their dispersion in 70AD. For example:
1096 The first crusades.
Most of the time this persecution was done, sad to say, in the name of Christ, sanctioned by popes (including prelates), princes and the mass of people with their priests. During the middle ages the senseless, unbiblical thought that ruled the mind of the Western church was that it should come to the aid of Providence by executing vengenance on the Jew for the crucifixion of Christ. But the question must be asked: Where in the Bible, especially the New Testament letters which explain the faith, is the Church ever commanded to persecute anyone? The answer is unequivically, nowhere! Instead, the apostolic teaching, according to Scripture, is that it was the Church that was to endure persecution for righteous living. The Scriptures do not instruct the Church on how to persecute but how to endure persecution (1Pet. 4:14-19).
David Baron in his commentary on the Book of Zechariah quotes an unidentified author who exposes some shameful facts regarding Church history:
"Where shall we begin," writes an American brother, "in treating the awful truth which is put here in such simple language? Where shall we find words earnest enough to picture the terrible facts in connection with it, and sound a warning for our times? Some time ago a person said, 'The Jews are to-day more stiff-necked and blinder than ever before.' Who has made them thus? Surely judicial blindness and hardness of heart: ears which do not hear, are given by God; but, alas! the nations, or so-called Christendom, have helped forward their affliction; they have made matters worse a thousand times: and Satan, who hates Israel, has been the author of all things calculated to increase the affliction of this downtrodden nation. Surely the cause of the increased stiff-neckedness and the increased blindness of the Jewish people is one which is traceable to the nations. Every reader knows something of the history of the Jews, what it has been since they were driven from their land -- a long, long tale of suffering, tears, and blood. Most unjust outrages have been committed against them: torture upon torture, the stake, and worse than that -- and all in the name of Jesus. It is a shameful history. Many a time Jews, after hearing the Word preached, have stood up and opened in answer this awful book of history with its blood-stained pages, asking the quesiton, 'Can He be our Redeemer whose followers have treated us thus in His name?' And not a few can tell us of their own sufferings in being banished from foreign lands. Hardly a month passes without some new outrage upon this people. Cruelty, injustice, wickedness, and crime are practised against them, and thus their affliction has been increased" (The Visions And Prophecies Of Zechariah, David Baron).Besides the Satanically inspired, general persecutions which the Jews have endured while in Gentile nations, there are two unique episodes in history that must be carefully considered and their true Satanic origin clearly understood:
Satan's plot through Haman
When the Persian empire came into power, the Jews were allowed to return to their homeland and, sanctioned by the emperor, allowed to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple (see the O.T. books of Nehemiah and Ezra). During that time an arrogant, narcissistic man by the name of Haman (prime minister to Ahasuerus, king of Persia) devised a plan to annihilate the Jewish people throughout the kingdom and managed to get his plan endorsed by the king. Rather than a general harassment of the Jews it was a calculated plan to annihilate. A santanic plot designed to keep the Jews from returning to the land. In other words, keep the Jews from returning to the land of Israel and the prophecies regarding Y'shua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) would not be fulfilled. Needless to say, Satan's scheme through Haman backfired. Jerusalem and the Temple were rebuilt, a remnant returned to the land and eventually Jesus, the Son of David, the Son of God, the Savior of the world was born in Bethlehem according to the Scriptures.
Satan's plot through Adolf Hitler
After the Roman dispersion in 70AD, the Jews remained without their homeland for almost 2000 years. In 1948 national Israel was resurrected (Eze. 37). However, just prior to the forming of that tiny nation the world experienced a world war and just as Haman and the Persion empire were used as an attempt to destroy the Jews, Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany became another timely Satanic plot to annihilate Jacob's descendents. Six million died in the death camps, reducing their number in Europe to a mere fraction of their original population. If Hitler would have won the war, genocide of the Jewish people (world wide) would have been inevitable. I am convinced this was the true purpose behind WWII.
The following article by Chuck Morse gives us a graphic example of the Islamic Arab support for the Satanic plots of Nazism in the Middle East during World War Two:
Hitler and the Palestinian Arabs
Pro Palestinian spokespeople play bait-and-switch on the charge of Jew-hatred as the motivating factor behind suicide bombings with sanctimonious stock lectures on Christian complicity in the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews. They blame Israel for "occupation" without explaining why Muslims, where they maintain substantial populations, seem incapable of living peacefully in countries they don't control, such as, besides Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus and elsewhere. These premises are false on three counts. Nazism was not Christian but neo-Pagan, Moslem imperialism today echoes Nazi aggression, and Arabs share a historic complicity in the Nazi Holocaust. In fact, understanding Arab support for Nazism places the present Israel-Arab conflict in its proper context. So what makes both Haman's potential holocaust and Hitler's actual holocaust unique? Their timely threat to annihilate the Jewish people each time they were to return to Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel). If Satan would have been successful through Haman there would have been no incarnation of the Son of God as prophesied in the Scriptures; no redemption through His shed blood on the cross; no gospel of divine grace proclaimed down through the centuries as our only eternal hope (ironically, even for the Gentiles). If Satan would have been successful through Hitler there would be no nation of Israel today, hence, no hope of Christ's future return as King of kings and Lord of lords and His subsequent 1000 year reign on earth, ruling the nations from His beloved city Jerusalem.
The first Satanic conspiracy (through Haman) was to prohibit the Messiah from coming into the world as "The Lamb of God," its Savior. The second (through Hitler) was to prohibit the re-establishment of national Israel in the Middle East in preparation for Christ's future return as King of kings and Lord of lords; to set up His promised, Millennial Kingdom on earth (Rev. 19:11-16). A future, glorious time when Satan himself will be bound for 1000 years and the earth will enjoy the reign of Jesus on His father David's earthly throne ruling over Israel and the nations (Lk. 1:32-33; Rev. 20).
I once received a letter from a fellow who reproached me for my stance on the Satanic origins of antisemitism. He maintained that, based on the curses spelled out in Deuteronomy 28, the holocaust, as well as all the persecutions inflicted on the Jews by the nations during their exile from the land, is God's doing alone. That I was in gross error to indict innocent Satan for what should be attributed to God only. But this poor, spiritually blind man cannot see past his own wicked prejudices and is ignorant to what God Himself, through the prophet Zechariah, has testified against the diabolical excesses of the nations:
"So the angel who was speaking with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and Zion. But I am very angry with the nations who are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they furthered the disaster (Zech. 1:14-15).(May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have mercy on him).
As Christians, we must not allow ourselves to be deceived by Satan's ineffectual ploys to prevent the return of Christ. Like his collusion with Haman and Hitler, the Arab threat to destroy the state of Israel has very dark origins. According to Bible prophecy, the state of Israel will play a critical role in the events leading up to the future return of Christ/Messiah to this earth. So it is very obvious to the spiritual man (1Cor. 2:15) that Satan's campaign now is to try to, in any way possible, annihilate that tiny nation which God has resurrected in the Middle East (Eze. 37), and thereby abrogate God's prophetic, Millennial purpose in restoring the fortunes to Israel (Is. 52:8; Jer. 29:14; 30:3,18; 31:23; 32:44; 33:7; 11:26; Eze. 39:25; Joel 3:1; Zeph. 3:20; Hos. 6:11; Amos 9:14). But God is sovereign and faithful to His Word; therefore the Apostle Paul cautions Gentile believers:
"For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in; and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.""We no longer live in the middle ages, and the believer today need not be subject to an ignorant, mediaeval church mentality. The average believer nowadays can read and, since the Reformation, the Scriptures are no longer withheld from the populace. Based on an honest, literal, study of the prophetic Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, one must conclude, unequivocally, that the Church did not replace national Israel, and based on the unconditional covenants God made with the Jewish people, in context with their nation, a glorious, Messianic Kingdom is yet to be set up in that land at the second advent of Jesus Christ - thus fulfilling what the angel Gabriel literally promised Mary at the annunciation of His birth 2000 years ago:
"He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end" (Luke 1:32-33)
